Thabo Sefolosha In Great Pain Says Injury Was Caused By The Police

Sefolosha’s injury has forced him out for the rest of the season. The NBA and the players’ union are looking into the case and working with New York police. Video of the incident was sent to TMZ that shows Sefolosha being tackled to the ground by police. He says the video shows he did nothing wrong.

Antic and Sefolosha were arrested following an incident where Pacers forward Chris Copeland was stabbed. The two Hawks players claim they were not there with Copeland, but they became involved after the stabbing. Police say the Hawks players interfered with a crime scene and resisted arrest.

Sefolosha said Tuesday he will have surgery within the next few days.
